Former Russell Acting Studio student, Travon McCall stops by Saturday Morning Acting Class!

Travon McCall, a former Russell Acting Studio student stopped by class on Saturday. He now lives in LA but was in NYC to shoot a co-star role on a new tv series. He watched the class and gave feedback to the students but also gave very inspiring advice on how to become a working actor.

He explained that 10 years ago he was working at the Crowne Plaza Hotel around the corner from the Theater Center where Russell Acting Studio has classes and he just walked in one day and asked about taking a class. Cathy handed him a monologue (he didn't even know what a monologue was!) and told him to start acting - and the rest is history. His story is a great reminder that you have to just take one first small step to realize your dream of becoming a working actor.
